We are a benchmark company in the Metalworking Industry sector, specialised in the production of machined parts and welded constructions—areas recently certified in accordance with the NP EN ISO 9001 Quality Management standard. This certification formally recognises the company’s commitment to excellence and innovation, supported by the dedication, determination, and forward-looking vision of its employees and partners, operating under the most stringent quality standards. We complement our offering with Industrial Maintenance services, including equipment assembly, preventive maintenance, and other essential interventions.

JHS was founded on 4 April 2014 in response to a market challenge, and its creation has proven to be a successful decision. This step was based not only on strategically relevant areas of activity but also on a strong network of contacts that supported the company’s initial launch.

Initially, our activity focused on mechanical maintenance and consultancy, serving the food and paper industries.

As demand grew, new challenges emerged, leading to a strategic reassessment aimed at expanding our services and exploring new horizons. This required the search for new facilities capable of supporting a more diversified business.

In October 2016, we moved to our current premises, where the conditions were created to begin our own production in the areas of machining, welded construction, and technical design, with the acquisition of essential equipment for each sector.

In 2019, through a rigorous application to the Portugal 2020 programme, we invested in cutting-edge technology, significantly increasing our operational capacity. This continuous growth required the expansion of our team and the doubling of our manufacturing area, with the creation of two distinct industrial buildings: one dedicated to machining and the other to metal fabrication and welded construction.

In 2023, we once again expanded our infrastructure with a new 700 m² industrial building and a dedicated logistics area for the storage and handling of raw materials.

Today, we operate with distinction in the glass, paper, food, and ceramics industries, serving nationally and internationally renowned clients.
